Let me tell you a little about myself. I live in Hammondville, located in South-West Sydney with my husband and two children and yes, I am a little quirky. I am also a Justice of the Peace (NSW) and I have obtained a Certificate IV in Celebrancy. I am a registered Marriage Celebrant appointed by the Attorney General’s Department, and I am a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants.
I have spent the last 25 years working in administration, and although I have loved every minute of it, I felt the need to reach out and do something creative.
I feel that being a civil celebrant suits me down to the ground. I get the opportunity to meet lots of new people, and to organise and be a part of important milestones in their lives. There is no better feeling than that of great accomplishment when I see that everything has run like clockwork and my clients are happy.
I also thrive on challenges. I enjoy the variety of ceremonies and the challenge of catering to the many differing needs of my clients. Mostly, I love the smiles. Coming from a large family, I love it when family and friends gather together for all of life’s special occasions. My favourite part is how everyone gets caught up in the emotion of the moment.
My promise to my clients is simple. I promise to do my best to give them a personal and unique ceremony on their wedding day. I promise to listen to their needs, and I promise that I will do everything in my power to perform a ceremony on their special day that they will remember forever.
