Wedding Ceremonies

Getting married is one of the biggest decisions you will make in your life, and so your wedding day should be a memorable one.  We all have different ideas on what we expect on our wedding day. Some of us want large celebrations with all the trimmings, others prefer intimate gatherings, and of course there are always elopements.

Regardless of how large or small, how intricate or laid back you plan your day, it is important that the most important part of the day – the ceremony – is perfect.

By choosing a civil ceremony for your wedding day, you are able to have input into how your ceremony is planned. This allows you to be more creative and add a more personal touch to your marriage ceremony.

Many couples choose to include marriage rituals into their ceremony such as hand-fasting and sand ceremonies. Couples who are bringing children into the marriage may also wish to incorporate them into the ceremony.

I have conducted wedding ceremonies all over Sydney and surrounds, from Wollongong to the southern highlands. These wedding ceremonies are each unique to the loving couple that are being celebrated.

The intimate package caters for a smaller gathering of up to around 30 people.

You will have a personalised ceremony with unlimited correspondence to make sure that the ceremony is exactly what you want. It also includes all legal paperwork and submissions.

Intimate

There is nothing more you could need in the optimum package, it has everything that the intimate has but also includes the use of a PA system and an on-site rehearsal.

This package also comes with a keepsake copy of your bespoke ceremony presented in a beautiful folder.

Optimum

Elopement packages include a simple ceremony with just the bride and groom and their witnesses.  It is very similar to a Registry Wedding and includes of the legal paperwork and submissions.

Elopements are designed for a couple that just require the formalities.

Elopement

‘Legals only’ ceremonies are perfect if you would like a friend or family member to conduct your ceremony. As a celebrant I am able to be your stand-in to carry out all the legal requirements of your wedding, while still allowing you have the ceremony that you want.

Naming
Days

Naming ceremonies are designed to formally introduce your new child into the world, surrounded in celebration by close family and friends.

Parents are able to include older siblings in the ceremony, which celebrates the child into the family as a unit, as well as into the circle of close family and friends.  Children are often assigned “Godparents” or “Guardians” by their parents, to help guide them into adulthood.

Renewal of Vows

Marriage is not always easy, and it important to celebrate all of the important milestones along the way. Renewal of Vows is a great way to do this.

Many couples feel the need to renew their vows for varying reasons. Some choose to renew their vows on a special anniversary, such as their 50th Anniversary. Others may choose to do so after hardship or separation.

Regardless of the reason, it is a wonderful excuse for a celebration.

Funeral
Services

Losing a loved one is never easy. Especially as there are so many things to organise.

In using a Civil Celebrant for the funeral service of your loved one, you are able to incorporate the personal touches that may not be able to be included in a religious ceremony. However, this does not mean that you can’t also incorporate spiritual readings in your civil ceremony.
